Welcome !
I’m Tish Ducrot, a freelance Designer and Illustrator based in Copenhagen.
I work with visual communication through illustrations, info-graphics, layouts and short videos. I create content for marketing campaigns, product launches, publications, online trainings, fundraising, and SoMe. I originally have a masters degree as an industrial designer, so I also know my way around 3D modeling, rendering, texturing. I’ve worked on projects with the Red Cross, Rosendahl, Normann Copenhagen, GUBI and more.
I’m originally French, yet grew up in South East Asia. I’ve traveled and worked internationally in Paris, Grenoble, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Munich and now Copenhagen working with various design studios. it’s made me a very international person with a taste for adventure and love working on very diverse projects with diverse people.
Feel free to get in touch. I would love to hear from you !
Østerbro - Denmark
Creating illustration and informatics for publications, digital content for online trainings, material for workshops, short animations for fundraising campaigns and content for SoMe.
Working with the mental health department of the Red Cross means communicating on topics like vaccine hesitancy during the COVID pandemic, stress and grief management, migration and integration, and more recently communicating about war to children.
Example of my work here
Nordhavn - Denmark
Worked on the development and launch of the 2020 furniture collection. As a product developer I supplied technical drawings and Bills Of Materials (BOM) to our manufacturers and regularly exchanged with them to supervise the development of GUBI’s new collection. I also supervised the proportions and quality of the prototypes and early series.
On another note, I developed GUBI’s very first sustainability report and established their environmental profile and sustainable goals for the upcoming years.
Hørsholm - Denmark
Worked amongst the product design department to develop various projects for upcoming seasons of 2021 and 2022 for Global, Holmegaard, Lyndby porcelains, Bjørn Wiinblad, and Rosendahl.
Out of curiosity and passion for the topic I also kickstarted a sustainability awareness project amongst the designers and the product development team. This deepened my own research on the topic and allowed me to later jump into CSR.
Example of projects I worked on here
Munich - Germany
Developed various products for HAY and Wegner, worked on 3D modelings, renderings, regularly exchanged with manufacturers, organized photoshoots and events, planned product launches and other related PR work.
I mainly worked with Solidworks and Fusion360 (CAM software) for modeling and then producing components of prototypes.
Østerbro - Denmark
I worked 7 months at Normann Copenhagen as an intern in their design studio. I learned a lot about Scandinavian aesthetics, production techniques and the steps and stages of the development of a product, from early sketches to the final object. The internship focused on the technical aspect of product design.
Examples of projects I worked on here
Tokyo - Japan
A wonderful period in Tokyo where I worked closely with Mikiya Kobayashi. I learned a lot about Japanese craftsmanship and project developing as we visited several workshops and manufacturers, working directly with the craftsmen to get to the final product.
